Roger Edet Paris Modernist Architectural Link Bracelet 1940s
Offered here is a Roger Edet of Paris Modernist gold-washed link bracelet in a geometric architectural design from the 1940s. The heavy fence-slat links are rounded on the back and slightly peaked on the front, and tightly hinged together. The singular clasp is comprised of a series of even hooks on the edge of one link that merge into the slat design on the opposing link, creating a seamless unit. This is a hand-wrought one-of-a-kind creation by a master of metalwork and Moderne design; it articulates beautifully and exhibits a strong presence. The gold wash is evenly mellowed, resulting in a warm glowing patina. This bracelet is the very definition of rare and desirable; add to that its evocative design & brilliant execution, and you have a bracelet for the ages. Signed "Roger Edet Paris" & "modele depose". Dimensions: 6.5"L x 0.75"W. Please note that in order to hook the clasp you must have a little extra room, making this suitable for a smaller wrist only.
