Neil Zevnik Modernist Blue Topaz Sterling Ring 1960s
1960s artist-crafted Modernist Brutalist-style sterling silver ring.
The highly three-dimensional architectural geometric design is executed in thick ribs alternating with small globes arranged in a circle. The tops of the ribs act as prongs to present an intricately faceted round blue topaz stone of exceptional color and clarity. The band around the back is etched with parallel lines.
This is a substantial and striking example of Mid-Century Modern creativity, singular and one-of-a-kind. Features:
- Signed “Sterling MacDonald”
- Dimensions: Face of rain .75”.
