Neil Zevnik Edwardian Sterling & Carved Amber Rosebud Brooch Circa 1910
Edwardian sterling and carved amber brooch, Circa 1910. This elegant design replicates a single rosebud on a stem, with a few leaves twisting their way around it.
The detailing is meticulous and expressive, and the simplicity of the execution leads the eye to the brilliant focal point nestled in a silver calyx at the top -- the deeply three-dimensional rosebud hand-carved from a truly spectacular piece of amber.
The center of the amber is filled with multiple reflective inclusions and the edges of the "petals" are translucent and gleaming.

- ”925” mark on pin stem
- Dimensions: 3.25"L x 1.25"W; amber rosebud is 1"L x 1"W x 0.65" deep.
- 1910
