Neil Zevnik Art Deco Sterling & Emerald Crystal Circular Brooch, 1930s
A large Art Deco sterling and emerald crystal brooch from the 1930s.
Executed in a circular wreath style, it consists of hand-hammered open-back round settings joined by narrow connectors, presenting prong-set crystals in a pale emerald hue that almost shades to teal. The stones are intricately faceted, with a flat table on the top and a pointed reverse. The open settings allow light to flood through the stones, and the vibrant color and complex faceting make the stones flash and glimmer with sparkle and life.
