Art Deco Nu-Wite Rhodium & Amber Crystal Spiderweb Filigree Cuff Bracelet 1920s
Offered here is an Art Deco Nu-Wite rhodium-plated hinged cuff bracelet by Ripley & Gowan Co. of Attleboro, MA from the 1920s.
The overall shape is a slightly flattened oval; the wide band is decorated in a delicate spiderweb filigree with floral pattern inserts. The front of the bracelet presents a serrated-bezel-set open-back emerald-cut amber crystal in the center, flanked by two narrow rectangular cut stones in the same hue.
The condition on this is startlingly mint -- the stones are richly-colored & intricately cut; the rhodium is flawless and virtually looks new, not a blemish to be found anywhere. This is a truly exceptional example of Art Deco design & craftsmanship.
Signed "Nu-Wite" and "R&G Co".
Dimensions: band, 0.75"W; interior circumference, 7"; interior measurements, 2.25" x 2"
