Neil Zevnik has been a passionate, some might say obsessive, collector of vintage costume jewelry for more than thirty-five years. His vast collection ranges from 1840 to 1980, from haute couture to humble atelier, from subtle to sublime and everything in between. To quote Neil, "like all decorative arts, costume jewelry reveals and reflects the attitudes and events of the periods in which it is created...this fascinates me. And there is a magpie side of me -- I'm entranced by things that sparkle."
